Tim Padgett has been practicing insurance in the states of South Carolina and North Carolina since 1991.He began with a vision and a goal to help others maintain or improve their current lifestyles as they reach their retirement years and beyond. Tim also makes sure that any assets left in the estate are safely passed down to the next generation by using the most efficient tax-favored strategies available.
Tim has personal experience with helping clients maintain their independent lifestyle as both of his parents were affected by illness later in their lives and needed care in their home. His mother spent almost 6 years in a nursing facility. This can cause stress both mentally as well as financially for families. The average cost of a nursing facilities has risen to between 80,000 and 100,000 per year.
Tim is an independent agent, which means he can always put his clients’ interests in front of any company’s interests. This creates better solutions and better peace of mind for his clients.
On the personal side, Tim has been married to his wife, Karen, for 35 years. He has two grown children, Tiffany, and Elliott. Tim has also been blessed with two grandchildren Jackson and Lyla Kate. He enjoys weightlifting, golfing, and spending time with his family and their dog Murphy.
