Before entering the insurance industry, George worked as an engineer in private industry. That experience and the time that he spent serving on a church staff have enabled him to better understand the needs of people from various backgrounds. His job experience with New York Life and Presbyterian Ministers’ Fund (America’s first life insurance company) also help him today, as an independent agent, to choose products from many different providers that are best suited to the needs of his clients. George holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Pensacola Christian College. Away from work, George is active in his church and the director of a youth Bible quiz organization that includes several churches. For exercise and relaxation, he enjoys golf and pickleball. He and his wife Marjorie have 2 children and 8 grandchildren.
