JB Burnett has been a personal financial advisor for more than 30 years. He is passionate about helping people reach their goals and get their financial houses in order. When working with clients, he draws upon a knowledge and expertise honed from his long-time experience in finance.
JB grew up in Rochester, NY. After graduation from high school, he went into the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. He was in the financial field for his entire career, having roles in Financial Accounting, Budget, Financial Services, Bank Liaison, Resource Advisory, and Personal Financial Advisory. JB ended his career as Base Comptroller.
After retiring from the military, he completed his education, attaining two BBA degrees in Accounting and Finance and Business Management. A seasoned entrepreneur, he has been involved with real estate investing, independent marketing & sales of consumer goods and services, and factoring car notes.
JB attained his health and life license in 2013 and successfully completed Howard University’s School of Business Financial Planning course in preparation for the Certified Financial Planner exam.
Nowadays, JB helps people prepare for their retirement lives by sharing ways to protect their principal and develop lifetime income. He is married to his wonderful wife, Lucy. They have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and one granddaughter. JB looks forward to helping you achieve the retirement goals you have worked hard for.
