GLEN WITCHEY serves as the Life and Annuity Auxiliary Manager. He is a Certified Senior Advisor with Advocate Financial Life and Health in the Fort Wayne area. Glen assists clients with Medicare and individual health policies across all major companies. His loyalties lie with his clients, ensuring that their individual needs are met. He prides himself on building long-term relationships.
Currently, Glen is taking the Registered Social Security Advisor class and plans to organize income throughout retirement. He pursued his insurance license after his mother’s policy was canceled when she was 80. Glen values life insurance for the peace of mind it provides, allowing people to live their lives fully without worrying about their loved ones’ financial security in the future. He believes everyone deserves the certainty that a good policy offers, ensuring protection from future financial difficulties.
Outside of work, Glen enjoys playing pickleball, spending time with his four kids, and playing cards with his wife, who he humorously notes is a sore loser. He is very active in his church and became a Knight of Columbus last year. Often, he ushers at church, watching large families and looking forward to welcoming his own future grandchildren.

John L. Becker, Co-Founder of Advocate Financial, has 40 years of experience in the Life, Securities, and Health Insurance industry. John graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Business Administration. John began his career as a Field Agent and Financial Planner with New York Life Insurance.
John also served as Vice President and Sales Manager for Far West Federal Bank Insurance Agency in Portland, Oregon. The highly successful MARKETING ONE agency chose the Far West Insurance Agency as the Beta site for pioneering Annuities and Securities within banks. This launched John into the greatly expanded realm of bank financial services.
John next took the post of Vice President for New Business Development for United Pacific Life with their Bank division and spent several years crisscrossing the country to successfully recruit banks. John also worked with Banks as Executive Vice President and Board member of CDA of America of Palm Beach. John additionally served as Chief Marketing Officer for Jackson Brokerage, a national financial institution focused on insurance marketing firm.
Finally, in 2009, John and his son Benjamin founded Advocate Financial, LLC, to provide insurance products for banks, agencies, and agents. Having assisted over 150 Financial Institutions throughout his career, John believes Banks have a substantial opportunity in offering Senior Health products to their existing Medicare-age clients. John designed “Generational TaxSaver” and the “Senior Wave Marketing” programs to assist Banks in meeting the financial security needs of their clients.
John has spoken nationally on Life Insurance marketing, Tax-Free Legacy Transfers, the Generational Transfer of Wealth, Annuity Tax benefits, and Index Annuities. John has been a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable and, in 2018, received the FFMA 2018 Agency Builder Award. John has held industry leadership roles with NAIFA and NAFIC.
